Cafe Visit: Frisky Goat Bakery & Cafe

A bright entrance to an early morning brunch, Frisky Goat Bakery & Café is located along the hectic roads of TTDI. It took me an astonishing 15 minutes to find parking to finally relax at the café. Once inside, you’re greeted by the friendly staff, owner Angeline Yap, and various eye-catching decorations. At the back of the café, you can have a glimpse through their bakery.
Being here early in the afternoon, I get to enjoy a peaceful brunch (because the cafe is usually packed)
Frisk Goat's Bakery portion can been seen through the blue windows (left)
One of the main highlights in this café is the freshly baked pastries and savories that are displayed at the front counter. Frisky Goat’s cakes are also freshly baked with specials that change often.

When I arrived at the café, I received many notifications and good reviews about the lunch and dinner main courses. However, because I was there for brunch, I was not able to try any main courses (but I’ll be sure to come back to try).
A grand total of RM 68.9 for this

For my brunch, I ordered (top right to bottom left) a Fruity Danish [RM 6.5], Blueberry Danish [RM 6.5], “The Works” Breakfast [RM 24], Belgium Waffles [RM 13.9], Latte [RM 9], and Hot Chocolate [RM 9].

Let’s start with “The Works” Breakfast – A complete breakfast meal composed of one Sunny-side (not visible), beef sausage, beef bacon, sautéed mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, side salad and toast. The only flaw in this breakfast meal was the bread was not toasted.

Frisky Goat's coffees are not as stellar as dedicated coffee specialists or cafes, but that should not deter you from coming to pair the food with coffee. The Hot Chocolate, on the other hand, was very rich.

Waffle lovers will definitely enjoy the crispy bites of the Belgium Waffles and Waffles A L'Americaine! If you prefer a savory waffle for brunch, the Waffles A L'Americaine will definitely please you. For a sweeter side, the Belgium Waffles will definitely savor your taste-buds.

Overall, Frisky Goat has been a eye-opening experience to me. Their selection of breakfast food definitely amazes me and I will definitely come back to try their dinner selections (as many other blogs suggest).
